Informal Recruitment happens at the beginning of fall and spring semesters. Chapters have the ability to set their own schedules and events. The best way to get involved in Informal Recruitment is to contact the recruitment chair for each chapter you're interested in.

Some semesters, there is an Informal Recruitment Kickoff where all participating chapters table at an event to share information with women interested in joining Greek Life. The Panhellenic Council will share information about Informal Recruitment events on Instagram (@umnpanhellenic) at the beginning of each semester.

Two chapters exclusively participate in Informal Recruitment. You can contact the recruitment chair of each chapter for more information about their chapter's recruitment events:

Some chapters that participate in Primary Recruitment also participate in Informal Recruitment. These chapters vary every semester - there is no guarantee a chapter participating in Primary Recruitment will also participate in Informal Recruitment. You can check the @umnpanhellenic instagram account to see whose participating.
